Good nature / tree hugger friends is this Spruce Budworm? INaturalist says yes, but the images don't compare well. I haven't seen this before. Nowhere else on the tree or its neighbours. Only saw it BC I was honing up my coniferous tree ID skills 😉@bran_will22

@DanikaTipping Geo major taking a swing at this. In telling their own stories, having a template to assist just helps. Perhaps it provides a pattern. Progressive skill development - planning. First this, then that ... but teach me otherwise please.

Ok so… English teacher pals, can you offer a compelling reason for why we need to teach students plot structure? I’m not saying there isn’t one but, I haven’t been able to come up with a good reason.
