#EskomGauteng #FourwaysOutage #StatusUpdate Last night, 14 February 2026, after the restoration process, a further fault was identified, which impacted seven mini-substations and resulted in a subsequent interruption shortly after power was restored. Supply has been restored to some of the affected areas. Our teams are continuing work to restore supply to the remaining affected customers. Further updates will be provided as progress is made. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Our teams have identified one of the four faults that have affected electricity supply.
Jointers had commenced with repairs and joining of the located fault. However, work had to be stopped due to heavy rainfall in the area. Work will resume once the rain has subsided and it is safe for our technicians to continue.
 
We apologise for the inconvenience caused and want to assure customers that we are doing everything possible to restore electricity supply as soon as possible. Updates will be provided as progress is made.

#EskomGauteng #FourwaysOutage We are working on restoring supply after an outage caused by cable faults, affecting customers in Fourways, Lonehill and Magaliessig. A test van has been dispatched to identify the location of the fault. The estimated time of restoration is not available as yet, however, updates will be communicated as we progress on site. We apologise for the inconvenience this causes.
