Against all odds, I somehow won genesis through 11 sets in losers, through every heavy hitter I’ve given this game everything I physically can, and despite everything it’s been the greatest ride of my life Of course I’d love to have a team and just go to every event, but I know I need to work on myself and I don’t think I can do that while being a full time competitor I want to be the best version of myself for my family, my fans, and this community that’s given me so much. Whether you love me or hate me, I want to be someone that can engross you in the game and bring fruit to the community that’s given me so much I’m going to do my absolute best to come back financially and emotionally secure, and give this game the goat fox it deserves. I’m not that person yet, but for all of you I’ll try my best. Thank you melee, the best game in the world ❤️

@MVG_Mew2King I know of a few people who overcame significant hand pain by doing exercise. Specifically strengthening the forearm and grip training through rock climbing. If playing melee is meaningful to you, you could probably build forearm strength for relatively cheap/ free/ pushups

There is a chance that I play for 1 or 2 more tourneys and then decide it is not physically wise anymore to continue. I really dont know, I am just concerned. I know people will say "go to the doctor" but I don't have insurance and haven't in basically forever, so I don't go.

I have been having issues where my hands hurt when I play SSBM, and only not playing the entire day makes it return to normal. But then when I play again, my execution is bad. Then I play and get it back then my tendons on the middle of my fingers hurt again.

i didnt get any kind of controller mods until 2021 when it was apparent it was forever cooked notches and z jump etc are all wack and if you ask most top players (which has already been done in private and should just be made public) most of them think its wack as all hell
