@_CarlMoney @domynych Proficiency in other languages have taken people far. I have worked at places where preference was given to those who can speak and understand other languages to handle certain positions in a bank when a new branch is been opened.

@kobycapo @domynych You can’t force a British person to speak Twi just because you speak their language. Language is learned by self-will, when people see the significance of being proficient in it. Just like how people want to learn chinese..

@domynych Probably my statement shouldve been MOST. Because, the number or Twi speaking people who have learnt languages as you are saying are very minimal as compared to the number of other language speaking people who have learnt to speak twi.

How are Twi people lazy when it comes to learning of languages? Haven't Twi people learned to speak Ga, Hausa, French, German, English, Spanish etc. elsewhere? In many parts of Ghana, you can survive speaking only Twi, minimizing incentives to acquire other local languages.

@_GhanaToday Inasmuch as I didn't hear her speak about twi people, I think when it comes to learning of languages, the twi speaking people are lazy.

@kobycapo Yes, indeed you would have to start from somewhere so did Pep but again what Roy is referring to is competition, would be mad if I thought Carrick could provide competition to Pep, Arteta and Slot as we speak now. All 3 have higher pedigree than him atm

@SarpVinny But the current performance of Carrick has shown he has competed well after his appointment so what will be the basis to say he cannot compete. If I were Arteta and pep I will respect the job Carrick has done and feared if he is given same resources as them .

@SarpVinny Well that’s the opinion of Roy Keane and not the genuine reality . I doubt Pep will disrespect Carrick knowing that he has shown he has what it takes to lead a team like man united . Pep was equally underrated when he started as a Barca coach but today he is regarded .

@SarpVinny Slot unknown to the EPL came in the first season and outperformed Arteta and pep without any major signing . I am not referring to current performances I am referring to access to a quality team . Carrick can beat Pep and Arteta like slot did . You can’t debate this
