Hello @samgeorgegh, MTN Ghana has just increased its charges for transfers from MoMo to bank accounts. This sounds like a subtle reintroduction of the E-levy! Who approved this? Can MTN unilaterally increase charges without approval? We need answers now, or we hit the streets!

An E-Visa system easing entry (free for Africans) sounds welcoming. But with weak backend screening, limited border infrastructure, and ongoing Jihadist movement in the sahel and northern Nigerian we have to be cautious.

Someone who has a degree in Agricultural Engineering and not even a public Tech degree wants the power to dictate who should have Tech certification in Ghana and who shouldn’t. Sam George even had both his basic and secondary education in Nigeria.
Government should focus on reducing data prices, improving infrastructure, creating opportunities, and enabling innovation instead of creating barriers and excessive control over the Tech sector. Remove Sam George from that position.
