Wrong. The "deal" was never going to give you the benefits of (EU) Single Market & Customs Union membership. What you're experiencing are *existing* rules (UK helped make) for *non* EU (non SM & non CU) member countries shipping into EU...inc into NI (part of the same food regs)

Fishing is complicated. For clarity . An NI vessel (as owned by an NI resident with utility bills, pays tax , marches on July 12th or not) with a GB flag lands fish in NI into the EU as if in the Single market.
