@ConnorSmith_UNT @MeanGreenMBB Gotcha. Ticket prices have gotten a bit high for a family of 7 but maybe next year. Thanks for responding!

Yes sir—a purchased ticket to the @MeanGreenMBB will get you access to the event inside on the concourse.

@Lolfang1 @Jimfrombaseball This post didn’t say that he was. What are your sources that he ‘hated gay people’ outside of some dumb Reddit thread? You can do a 2 second google search and see he never really took a stance, you miserable fuck.
English

@Jimfrombaseball Schulz wasn’t exactly a paragon of progressive values. He hated gay people and hated that Patty and Marcie were adopted as lesbian icons.

"Either you print it the way I draw it, or I quit.
How's that?"
Charles Schulz.
Initially, many newspapers threatened to cut the "Peanuts" strip, but soon realized that Schulz was telling the truth.
In 1968, after the death of Martin Luther King Jr., Franklin debuted.
Predictably, some racist readers complained, especially because a black kid was seen in same classroom and house as white kids.
Charles Schulz remembered a particular letter he received about Franklin from a Peanuts reader "Who said something about, 'I don't mind you having a black character, but please don't show them in school together.'
Because I had shown Franklin sitting in front of Peppermint Patty.
I didn't even answer him".

@ConvChronicles Got it- thanks! I’ll mess around with it and thanks for being understanding.

@makesitrain You’re not being difficult at all! Always happy to discuss this kind of stuff.

A high-impact winter storm is becoming more and more likely this weekend across a broad swath of the southern US. One of the most intense surges of cold air this winter will take place, coinciding with multiple forcing mechanisms aloft to support widespread snow and ice from the Southern Plains to the Eastern Seaboard. Who exactly will see snow vs ice (or a wintry mix) and how much of it will become clearer as the event approaches, but for now, it appears that the heaviest snow will focus from Oklahoma eastward into the southern Appalachians, with a transition to wintry mix and ice expected with southern extent. Regardless, widespread impacts are likely from the Southern Plains eastward beginning Friday through the weekend.

English

@ConvChronicles Can you link that, please? I’m not trying to be difficult. Genuinely trying to learn! I think it’s the colors scheme that I can’t wrap my head around.
English

@makesitrain Here’s the latest overall winter impacts map from the WPC; it kind of has that same bifurcation in probabilities around the DFW metroplex with the heaviest snow impacts north and ice south.

English

@ConvChronicles I get what you’re saying and I should have worded it better. I just feel like a total impact map might be more serving here, based off of these maps it makes it look like there is very little chance of impact in DFW and slightly north, which isn’t true. I hope that makes sense!
English

Those maps do not show snow or ice totals; they show the chance of moderate impacts (see map for what this entails) from snow or ice. As of now, the DFW area looks to be just south of the heaviest snow and just north of the heaviest ice. Therefore, the chances for at least moderate impacts are higher for areas north (from snow) and south (from ice). This could definitely change, but that’s where we stand with the current projections.

@robbie71w @NWSMidland I couldn’t figure it out, didn’t even think about NM. Thanks!
English

@makesitrain @NWSMidland Indeed. But they have Tatum, NM in their coverage area.
