@BarristeredOK @DuBoseDefense Its the other way around. Successful/good lawyers aren't judges b/c it's a pay cut.

@DuBoseDefense Whenever I see a judge like this, I wonder how it was remotely possible for them to have succeeded enough as a lawyer to be considered to be a judge.

@lukepierceops do you deploy an ai agent on the customers local desk/laptop or something like a server or ec2 server?

My first AI automation retainer client fired me after 1 month.
It was $2,000/month. Found me on Upwork... we had two calls, he signed, we even had dinner together in Boca Raton.
Crazy to think this was over 3 years ago at this point.
But we STILL have a good relationship overall and he's a good guy. Construction business between New York and Boca.
But I had zero process. Looking back, it was ridiculously horrendous.
No weekly check-ins, delivery timeline, milestones.
No daily communication.
Essentially just a retainer and vibes.
I'll never forget the email. Day before the subscription was supposed to renew. "We're too busy for this right now."
I could read between the lines.
He's called me a few times since then for projects. No hard feelings.
But that one month taught me more than any course or playbook ever could:
Retainers without structure are just subscriptions to disappointment and churn. You need to have something finite that you are delivering, consistently. It's one of the most difficult type of engagement to sustain when running an ai agency.
Now every client gets mapped milestones, weekly OR daily demos, daily async updates, and a clear build timeline before we touch a single workflow.
And so many nuanced pieces around managing complex projects.
A lot of the lessons I learned from that experience built the foundation for everything Boom runs on today.

@BobMurphyEcon @michaeljknowles and if it ONLY charges you and no one else, what then? lol
English

@marcusdiazcom @michaeljknowles but if it NEVER charges you then it's not a restaurant it's a soup kitchen
English

@BobMurphyEcon @michaeljknowles if a restaurant gives you a free meal, is it no longer a restaurant?
English

Absolutely. The judges responsible for repeatedly releasing violent criminals who commit horrific crimes must be impeached.
Arthur MacWaters@ArthurMacwaters
This is insanity Judges are complicit in the murder of innocent people by repeat criminals It’s not like they don’t know these facts. 60% of violent criminals released from prison return to prison with a new conviction within just a few years Hold the judges accountable

@bowtiedmeathead I've got two. One is a bit more "cut out"/interested in college but wants to be a mechanic (!).
The other goes between hairdresser (I'll help her start her own business if she goes that route) and lately mental health like a counselor but that will mean post-secondary school.

My wife and I were talking the other day about potential career options for my 15 yrs old daughter who really struggles in school and is likely not college bound/material.
For guys it’s easy…
Don’t want to go to college, pick a trade or figure something else out such as a police officer, firefighter etc.
It’s not as easy for girls.
I think she would do well in sales since she is attractive, has the personality and is extremely social (spends hours everyday talking on the phone to all her friends).
For parents with daughters who aren’t on the college path…what are some real, high-income career options you’ve seen work?

We're supposed to have 13 months in a year, 28 days exactly with one day of renewal.
Keep in mind women's periods are 28 days, the ocean tides are 28 days, and the moon cycle is 28 days.
That's why we call it a month, because the cycles were originally derived from the moon (s).
All of this was changed to make us out of sync with the moon & stars and also hide our history.

Police and prosecutors regularly make false and defamatory allegations based on unverified rumor, speculation, sometimes they even bring prosecutions based on the same.
People ought to be able to sue. No more qualified immunity for state actors.

well water tastes better/is better and personally i have better skin when i drink it. had 3 kids on well water, 0 on city water. same time in each one.
generally dealing with a well isn't that big of a deal, but it will breakdown from time to time and it's good to understand how it works. you wanna keep the wellhouse warm enough in the cold

It is good and right for a man to defend his daughter and himself.

We have respected the legal process throughout my campaign and and legal case. It's incredibly frustrating and unprofessional for the Prosecutor and soon to be former Sheriff to make false and misleading statements about my case and motivation for running.

A healthcare story:
My girlfriend (now wife) got pregnant at 18. Her parents health insurance didnt cover pregnancy (dont know how that worked) but it wouldn't cover it
We went to the local hospital (a very nice one in OC/So Cal) and they had a "cash plan" $3500 included all doctors visits, she got to choose her OBGYN, the epidural and 48 hours in the hospital. We had to pay it in 6 payments monthly
Our 2nd child we were married and had health insurance, self employed. We went to the same hospital, same Dr's. They billed my insurance over $18,000 of which I had to pay 30% ($5400) plus the monthly premium and co pays
3rd child, we had insurance. I went back to the same hospital, same Dr's and asked for the cash price again. Paid $3500 in 6 installments and never told my insurance
