These lights resemble papery Chinese lantern seedpods—hozuki—for which I named Hozuki, my late🍊boy.🐈 Depicted is a Cornish village celebration bearing an eerie similarity to scenes of hozuki lanterns lit to guide ancestral spirits home during the Japanese summer festival Obon.

A beloved friend who has called for violence to stop AI is irrefutably an anti-AI stochastic terrorist. Too weak-willed to act on his convictions, he tried to rally others to his banner. That he failed so spectacularly at his personal mission leaves him no less morally culpable.
