Country is so hard. 10 yrs ago, when I started hiring local staff, I noticed a pattern. People would accept a job without having transport money to show up to work day one. A few times, some would sum up the courage to plead for a salary loan or assistance with transport fares. I later developed a new habit of gifting new staff cash upfront to boost their confidence and ease the transition to the new role. I would tell them it was an upfront loan, but at month end, they would always receive full salary. I always noticed the excitement! I realised it helps people maintain dignity and reduced the burdens that allowed them to put their best foot forward. Only had two bad experiences where they took money and didn't return after a few days. Still hasn't changed my attitude. People are suffering in silence, pay attention!

Nigerians: Why are you even talking about the Epstein files when you have other pressing issues in Nigeria. Me: same way Americans talked about the Christian persecution issue in Nigeria and bombed my country as a result of it. I am a decent human being and it's only natural for me to be concerned about such heinous evil. Expecting me to shut my mouth with all the horrifying evidence in public domain of so called world leaders abusing, raping and eating little children is simply nonsensical. And to think, that these are the same hypocrites that are quick to accuse others of lacking basic human decency, abuse of human rights and just plain evil makes this really nauseating and triggering. Our traditional costumes like the ones in the pictures are that of a leopard. The Isi agu attire of the Igbos is the leopard. For the Igbos Odum is Lion while Agu is the Leopard. Agu holds a far more cultural significance than Odum. Powerful men are usually referred to as Agu (Leopard) not Odum. For the Yoruba, Amotekum is the leopard, Kinium is lion. Amotekum holds a far more spiritual and cultural significance in yoruba Cosmology than kinium. For the Zulus, Ingwe is the leopard. Lion is ingonyama. Ingwe (The leopard) has more significance for the Zulus than the lion. Across Africa the belief is the same. How can an animal that doesn't even live in the Jungle be the King of the Jungle? If you are Nigerian student writing JAMB in 2026, endeavour to get into the University at all cost. Don't insist on courses like Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering etc if you don't meet the cut-off marks required. They are great courses but you will have better chances trying again while in school or switching courses if possible. In most cases, what you will study in school is not what you need to survive in Nigeria. It's what you learn while in school or the friends you will make while in school that matters the most. Start now to research on alternative courses incase you miss your main course of study. I wish you the best of luck but take this seriously.

I am leaving Christianity…🙁🙁🙁🙁 Yes, you heard me right. I’ve been wrestling with this for a long time, and today I’m finally letting it out. I am leaving Christianity because of the following “serious” issues: I can’t even live my old life in peace anymore. Christianity has ruined it completely. Anytime I try to tell a simple, innocent lie, the Holy Spirit starts convicting me. Next thing you know, I’m confessing like someone under investigation. Why is the Holy Spirit always trying to guide me to the right path when all I want is to misbehave in peace? Why did God become a man to take the punishment I deserve? Who told Him to love me that much? Why did God humble Himself lower than an angel just because of me? What’s my business? Am I not allowed to stay useless in peace? Why is God so consistent with His message that He left no loophole for me to find fault? At least make small mistake so I can argue! Why did Jesus live a sinless life and then tell us to be like Him when I can’t even go 24 hours without sinning? How is that fair? Why does God want me to love my enemies when I’m still struggling to love myself? Why did Jesus say “turn the other cheek” when what I really want is to return slap with interest? Why is God offering me eternal life for free just by believing in Christ? Why can’t I really hard for it? Why so generous? Why does Christianity want me to stop gossiping and living a hypocritical life when that was literally my talent? Christianity has made me understand love too much.
