Telling South Africans and the world, the respect and the importance SA accords to democratic practices, human rights, and international law. What now of the ugly scenes in the streets of SA?

This man should be found and arrested @SAPoliceService @NPA_Prosecutes @CyrilRamaphosa. He chose to publicly commit a crime of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in common purpose with his colleagues. We cannot take a moral stand in world affairs while we allow this level of criminality.

In some areas of its jurisdiction, the Chitungwiza Municipality gives only one service! Water but NOT consistently. Sometimes we go ten days or even three weeks without that only service! Surprisingly, Chitungwiza Municipality will visit the residents with a balloning bill???????

NASSA Zim, why are you asking for the three last payslips when I come for my pension yet you did not give the condition initial? Govt give pension pay out from their system, and so you should. If my previous employer gives proof of employment and your office has records, why?

Until legislators begin to get paid according to the regional and continental standards they will remain a vulnerable arm of Gvt susceptible to being compromised.

@daddyhope If law enforcement officers can’t do their jobs, then citizens will do their jobs for them. Afrophobia vigilante groups are not going anywhere until BMA, Home Affairs and SAPS do their jobs.

KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner, General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, has called out Afrophobia vigilante groups that target people on the basis of how they look, warning that there are many South Africans who can easily be mistaken for foreigners from other African countries. He warned that such actions may lead to people being hurt. General Mkhwanazi said that immigration enforcement must be left to trained professionals, not random individuals taking the law into their own hands. He gave himself as an example, noting that even he could be wrongly profiled as not looking South African enough. The KZN police chief said it is concerning that these vigilante groups selectively target Africans, despite the fact that immigrants in South Africa come from a wide range of communities.

@SeerH250397 @daddyhope I pray that EB Morra will get to know how SA got itself into a flood illegal immigrants. Indeed, illegal immigrants must be pushed out of SA. However, it is NOT the silver bullet that will reset SA's social economic situation. Corruption and other issues are hitting SA.

@daddyhope Gen Mkwananzi is talking to himself and just a few South Africans. It's not vigilante groups, but the majority of SANs want all black foreigners out! With all ugly scenes, how many are arrested in the madness? Agreed, all illegals be pushed by authorities.

@daddyhope Besides tribalism, Jacinta thinks that the kicking out of black foreigners is the silver bullet that gonna solve all South Africa's social economic problems. I hear some SANs saying all must kick out. They better call all South Africans to go out of other parts of Africa also.

What is shocking here is not just the kind of content of these posts, but the retrogressive mindset behind them. This is a Black South African speaking about fellow Black South Africans in the language of division, prejudice, and outright contempt driven by tribalism. To mock people from Limpopo, to reduce entire communities to stereotypes, and to casually demean languages like Venda and Tsonga is not just ignorance, it is intellectual bankruptcy. It is the kind of thinking that keeps societies divided and stagnant. South Africa has spent decades trying to build unity out of a deeply fractured past. Yet here we have individuals who, instead of rising above that history, choose to recycle the same narrow-minded thinking, just directed at different targets. You cannot claim progressiveness or leadership while holding views that belittle your own people. That contradiction exposes everything sick and evil about this mindset. And it deserves to be called out for exactly what it is, tribalism!!

South Africans who are calling for all black foreigners to go out of SA, documented or not. Please call South Africans in other parts of Africa to come back home. It can't be that u call for all foreigners to be kicked off SA and South Africans keep in other parts of Africa.

@daddyhope Some South Afficans want all black foreigners out of SA. Documented or not, they are unwanted by the majority of South Africans. Those driving foreigners out are having their way, and NO police are seen protecting the foreigners. I only saw police in EC protecting foreigners.

This kind of behaviour in South Africa, a country seen by many Africans as a beacon of hope for the continent, is deeply disturbing and cannot be said to represent the values of the average South African. What we are witnessing is outright Afrophobia, where foreign nationals, many of them helpless, are being subjected to naked violence. They are being beaten with whips and fists, attacked simply for being outsiders, defenceless African nationals trying to live and work in the country. This is not strength, it is cowardice. These men reveal their own insecurity by targeting the vulnerable, while avoiding those who genuinely shape the economic conditions they complain about. They go after the weak because they are afraid of confronting real power. South African authorities must never tolerate this. It tarnishes the country’s image, undermines the rule of law, and projects South Africa as a place where violence is allowed to flourish unchecked. The response must be firm, swift, and unequivocal. Those responsible must be held accountable, and the state must make it clear that no one, regardless of nationality, can be subjected to such brutality.

I took profound issue with the panel discussions on Rural Industrialisation Indaba 2026 at the ongoing @ZITF1 today which ostensibly focused on the commendable goal of enhancing rural livelihoods through industrial initiatives. However, the conspicuous omission of key stakeholders, including Chiefs and other traditional leaders, from these dialogues is nothing short of an egregious oversight. To neglect such pivotal figures is, quite frankly, the essential misstep in any earnest effort at meaningful engagement. It’s no surprise that many of these noble initiatives inevitably falter because important voices are omitted. #ZITF

South Africa is known for its democracy and free speech. However, two Nigerians with visas were denied entry into SA bcoz of their social media comments! Is SA's free speech and democratic practises reserved for South Africans only??? Interesting.

Happy Independence Day Zimbabwe. We must remain grateful for all those who fought for this country some of whom never saw it free. Today we are enjoying the fruits of their efforts. The country which they sacrificed for should in return also cater for them. We salute all the heroes upon whose sacrifices a liberated Zimbabwe today stands. Happy Independence Day Zimbabwe!
