Exciting to hear that we will have Sunday School, Elders Quorum, Relief Society, Young Men’s and Young Women’s, as well as Primary every week. No more trying to remember if it’s a Sunday School week or an EQ/RS week! #simplify #restoration
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints@Ch_JesusChrist

In advance of the upcoming general conference leadership session (April 2, 2026), The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced upcoming adjustments to the Sunday class meeting schedule to support members in their efforts to be lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. The adjustments will strengthen gospel learning in homes and congregations throughout the world. Beginning September 6, 2026, the alternating weekly schedule for Sunday School and quorum or class meetings will be replaced. Under the updated schedule: • Sunday School, Relief Society, elders quorum, Young Women and Aaronic Priesthood quorum meetings will be held each week. • Sacrament meeting will continue to be 60 minutes, followed by brief transition periods. • Sunday School and quorum and class meetings will each be 25 minutes. • Primary will continue every Sunday and will be 55 minutes, held while adults and youth attend their respective classes. • Where local circumstances necessitate, units may begin with Primary and quorum and class meetings and conclude with sacrament meeting. We’ve spent decades telling kids that if they get good grades and go to college, opportunity will be waiting on the other side… Today, only 22% of US high school seniors are proficient in math, with the US ranking 28th among developed nations. - Alpha School: K–12 private school network using AI tutors + mastery-based learning to compress academics into 2 hours a day - Kids learning 2–10x faster using AI-driven mastery (not teacher-at-the-front) - 1535 average SAT for seniors (vs ~1024 national average) - Students consistently scoring in the top 1–2% nationally

Thank you Elder @AndersenNeilL. I listened to your talk on Tuesday morning at the gym as struck by the principle of authorized witnesses. It really made me reflect. As a Stake High Councilor and counselor in Stake Young Men’s Presidency, I believe we need to echo this teaching you have shared. I will be doing so. Thank you for all you do!

Nearly 30 years ago, President Henry B. Eyring, who was then a member of the Quorum of the Twelve, said something in general conference that I have not forgotten. I shared his insight this past Sunday as I spoke to the students of BYU–Idaho. “One of the ways we may know that the warning is from the Lord is that the law of witnesses, authorized witnesses, has been invoked. When the words of prophets seem repetitive, that should rivet our attention and fill our hearts with gratitude to live in such a blessed time” (“Finding Safety in Counsel,” Apr. 1997). Two weeks ago, President Dallin H. Oaks repeated the warning issued by President Russell M. Nelson from general conference in April 2018: “In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost.” So, what do you do to rivet your attention, to assure that you survive spiritually by having the constant influence of the Holy Ghost? You look carefully at your daily activities. Am I praying? Am I thoughtfully partaking of the sacrament? What am I putting into my mind? Am I associating with others who seek the constant influence of the Holy Ghost? What could be my distractions, my obstacles, or my deceptions? You pray for inspiration and courage to make any changes you need to make. Let us be true disciples of Jesus Christ. The Redeemer of Israel knows you, loves you, and will strengthen you as you seek to draw closer to Him.

I love the recent talk by President @OaksDallinH at @BYU “Coming Closer to Jesus Christ”. His instruction around truth and those who would spread lies has particularly hit home for me as I have been harmed by those who would spread lies - both personally and professionally. Truly, “the adversary has become so effective at disguising truth” as we live in a post-truth, fake news, misinformation world now. We must rely on the Holy Spirt! #saintsonx #lds “I feel to emphasize the warning President Russell M. Nelson issued us that “in coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, … comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost.” One of the many reasons you will need the constant influence of the Holy Ghost is that you live in a season where the adversary has become so effective at disguising truth that if you don’t have the Holy Ghost, you will be deceived. Many obstacles lie ahead. The distractions will be many. Even active members may sometimes have concerns about some historical, doctrinal, or social issues connected with the Church. I want to help all our members overcome present or future doubts. Whatever those doubts, the way to overcome them is to get closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ. Again and again, He has taught us that He is the way.” churchofjesuschrist.org/study/broadcas…

Life is hard. Getting an education is hard. Serving a mission is hard. Pursuing an honorable career is hard. Marriage is hard. Being a parent is hard. Being a follower of Jesus Christ is hard. Receiving and maintaining spiritual convictions is hard. But the most worthwhile things in life are hard. @EyringHB taught: “The Lord is anxious to lead us to the safety of higher ground, away from the path of physical and spiritual danger. His upward path will require us to climb. My mother used to say to me when I complained that things were hard, ‘If you are on the right path, it will always be uphill.’” Hard does not mean wrong. Hard often means higher. Climbing requires effort. Growth requires resistance. Strength is built against opposition. In most cases, if we’re experiencing resistance while striving to do what is right, we can take courage. The uphill climb is evidence that we’re ascending. And that resistance is shaping us into who God needs us to become. #SaintsOnX #FloodXwithTruth

As you study Noah this week, here is an interesting connection between President Nelson's talk on covenant "rest" and Noah's name which means "rest." There is beautiful symbolic meaning in the ark floating above the chaos of the world, at rest, with the covenant keepers inside the ark or translated into heaven (see JST Gen 14). The Hebrew name Noah (נֹחַ, Noach) directly means "rest," "comfort," or "peace". Derived from the Hebrew root nuach (to rest or settle down), the name Noah signifies resting from the curse of toil and sin (Genesis 5:29) President Nelson: "The reward for keeping covenants with God is heavenly power—power that strengthens us to withstand our trials, temptations, and heartaches better. This power eases our way. Those who live the higher laws of Jesus Christ have access to His higher power. Thus, covenant keepers are entitled to a special kind of rest that comes to them through their covenantal relationship with God... Despite the distractions and distortions that swirl around us, you can find true rest—meaning relief and peace—even amid your most vexing problems... As we strive to live the higher laws of Jesus Christ, our hearts and our very natures begin to change. The Savior lifts us above the pull of this fallen world by blessing us with greater charity, humility, generosity, kindness, self-discipline, peace, and rest. Now, you may be thinking this sounds more like hard spiritual work than rest. But here is the grand truth: while the world insists that power, possessions, popularity, and pleasures of the flesh bring happiness, they do not! They cannot! What they do produce is nothing but a hollow substitute for “the blessed and happy state of those [who] keep the commandments of God... My plea to you this morning is to find rest from the intensity, uncertainty, and anguish of this world by overcoming the world through your covenants with God." churchofjesuschrist.org/study/general-…
