Great opportunity here via The British Library Learning calling for children to create their own miniature books: @BL_Learning

A number of children's authors and illustrators, including Axel Scheffler, Jacqueline Wilson, Katherine Rundell and I, were commissioned by the @britishlibrary to create miniature 16-page books. I thought it was important to have a strong LIBRARY connection.

Went down to @ArnolfiniArts at the weekend to check out #BABE2019 (Bristol Artists Book Event) and I was enamored with all the beautiful print and the multitude of methods used to create them. These were my favourites - tiny books!

And we’re delighted to be launching at our latest creation at #BABE2019 : a pocket-sized pop-up ‘Kiosk’ inspired by the work of Sir Allen Lane, creator of @PenguinBooks, who also invented the ‘Penguincubator’ - a vending machine for paperback books 🚀
