How do people market products normally? Like if I made a product and wanted to hire someone to do marketing (like idk. ads? finding influencers?) where do I find this and know it's an effective hire? Are there marketplaces for this? Idk what the meta is besides 'go viral'

@StewartalsopIII Sounds fun! Salsa and bachata are still tricky for me, I still can't quite get the rhythm right. I don’t know what you’re looking for but if you ever want to take tango classes with ongoing groups and an English-friendly community, you should come to Estudio Dinzel.

@monttilva was coming from brazil where I was doing daily classes in zouk for about 3 years whenever I was in brazil, when I got here i started getting into tango and need to get back into it, also now got bachata and salsa Samba de gafiera and west coast swing are up next too

I had to give up my conpulsive private tutoring which I got to the peak of when I landed in buenos aires 2023 when everything was wiemar republic cheap and I was getting paid in US dollars at a crazy job neither of those things are true anymore but recently started making more money which means I want to get back into it this is my personal crack cocaine and lets see if I can make enough to take limitless dance classes again

@StewartalsopIII Yes, there is a need for a certain playfulness and joie de vivre, which is a mood that the other person can feel. If you have fun and listen to them, it's amazing the dynamics that are created.

its just so crazy male female relations on the dance floor it simply does not matter if you are a good dancer (ok it does matter) all that matters is if you can make jokes, smile, never let the follow's model on reality into your head where it turns into something its not (bi directional) its really quite stark the neccessity, have fun at all times and be goofy in a specific way

I danced for the first time in a year today with lots of beautiful ladies and it's just so crazy how magical the world becomes, and buenos aires is a pretty magical place already so it was "a bit much" in a really epic way, man what a day BA is chock full of magical realism

It was the best time to be a designer, it was the worst time to be a developer.

People will fly to Southeast Asia from Texas without a second thought and somehow say that Argentina is “too far away” This is part of the strange mixture of a psychic force field around Argentina keeping people away that for a certain part of the people who break through never leave because of the gravity field (myself included)

bro its so hard to find designers that are great at the basics (sizing, spacing, typography).

The only toxic relationship I have in my life is the one I have with Awwwards.

I need a tool that works something as "Show me websites with design similar or adjacent to this example" for my design inspo hunts. Pinterest meets Awwwards tool, where are you?

While we're at it, I'm also thinking of hiring a virtual assistant to help me with some light admin work. I don't know if I would have enough work for a part-time, but I definitely have enough hourly work on a weekly basis. Is this possible? Where do you usually look for VAs?
