@paulofdub Just don’t post on SM. I read a review lately and the critic wrote that the business was open 4 days, so they should know what they are doing at that stage. Not the case at all. It took me 2 years to figure out the seafood shack. Garry & I fed family when we open the boathouse.

Can I give a bit of advice to anyone thinking of taking on restaurants that are vacant currently? Don’t announce to anyone you are opening. Do a ‘soft’ opening. Restaurants have about 6 weeks to make a good impression on customers. Also that long to learn what they don’t know.

We are closing our restaurant for November. Wee bit excessive maybe. 🙈 That was one busy summer & with no extra staff to be hired.(Our poor chefs were about to drop) We decided to take the month off & will be back at it refreshed (hopefully) in Dec. Happy Halloween everyone…! x

@LaurenGuilfoyle The steep part stay left if you lose the path. I’ve seen people end up way over to the right. Yiu should be grand! It’s a brilliant hike enjoy! Oh and it’s left at the top of the steep section to the summit (15 min) *not always obvious in fog

Hoping to climb Brandon tomorrow from the Faha side - any words of wisdom? I’ve climbed it before but from the far side.
