What is the worst-case scenario here? Is T***p deliberately sabotaging the US military? Most civilians have no idea how the military is staffed. Assuming that the highest in command who recently resigned were the best officers , are those who will now be promoted of a similar high quality or are they discernibly inferior?

A four-star dropping “a madman will lead the great US military to ruin” an hour after his resignation is about as blunt a warning as you’ll ever hear from the top ranks. It suggests the internal pushback on how this Iran campaign is being run finally reached its limit. When experienced leadership starts speaking out publicly amid active operations and mounting losses, it’s the kind of fracture that makes you wonder how steady the command structure actually is right now.

I am going to say this as clearly as possible.
Every chain founder, public figure, crypto company, DEX, even CEXs and every other actor that gave money to Trump, worked with him, or let him use their platform should start distancing themselves now.
Not later. Now.
It was already a disgrace that parts of this industry chose to fund and legitimize an authoritarian movement.
What made it even worse was the silence, the cowardice, and the willingness to pretend this was just normal politics.
It was never normal.
If they keep hiding, keep saying nothing, and keep acting as if this is beneath them, then they deserve to be named alongside it.
History is not kind to enablers. Markets are not kind to those who tie themselves to political decay.

Early in Trump's first term, I suggested that his supporters make a list of things he could do that would cause them to withdraw their support. Otherwise, it's very difficult to overcome the dissonance that comes with a politician you adore betraying you & the goals you wanted.
