Morning thought while fighting Claude Code for a few hours and trying to find out where it messed up optimizing tests (automated tests simulate a new user every hour on urlyup.com).
Anyone worried about AI may as well worry about donkeys taking their job. Except its a much faster donkey so it can claim the speed record, but it will also hit a wall faster.

I had breakfast this morning with a friend who runs AI in one of the world's biggest companies.
He told me about their AI efforts, which are small and not that important yet.
At the end of breakfast said "big enterprise won't adopt AI in huge scale for two more years. At minimum. The nerds in San Francisco don't understand humans and how they adopt things."

axios was compromised on npm today.
We open-sourced a tool that catches this: compares npm tarballs against GitHub source. If deps exist in npm but not in git, it flags it.

I met with Saudi's head of AI last week in Abu Dhabi and he told me they wouldn't allow robots into the country without the data being stored in their datacenters.
Well, here is how Tesla's robotaxis and Optimus humanoids will be allowed into the country.
"Sovereign AI" they call it.
And this is why Elon is worth the pay package shareholders approved.
With one meeting he can open up the richest country. I can't do that, even though I had the meeting with the same guy. :-)
