Tech gave me everything I have Its capacity to lift people into abundance is incredible and there is nothing like it We must make that into prosperity for everyone
Bloomberg Technology@technology

The majority of that money never gets to the homeless. It goes to non-profits who then pay salaries and "operational costs." In some NGOs as little as .17 cents for every dollar goes to services. I will say that @salvationarmysf, .85 cents per dollar goes to programs.

San Francisco spends $141,852 per Homeless Person on Average which is almost be same as the median household income for 2025. Let that sink in.

Agents will outnumber human users on the web by orders of magnitude. Just like people, they will need a way to pay for services they use. They may run into propriety health or finance data they need to pay for when doing a deep research task, or make a tool call to a bespoke web API for some functionality. But unlike people, agents experience no friction when making a payment, so they can pay for things in much smaller units and increments than people will. An agent may need to call an API that they only need to use on a one-time basis or pay for information that they need without signing up for a subscription. This means all forms of revenue streams can emerge for technology and information providers that wouldn’t have been possible before. To make this all work, we need will need new infra and tools for agents to do this, and it’s cool to see MPP from stripe and tempo.

We've been experimenting with pi-autoresearch to optimize the new canvas rendering engine. 10x improvement on the slowest test in couple hours. 🤯 While it did take some shortcuts that degraded rendering quality, it also came up with several great ideas that were easy to cherry pick. This is huge. HT to @karpathy for the original inspiration and @davebcn87 for the π extension.
tobi lutke@tobi

And the most important part: we open sourced the /autoresearch plugin for pi. Just tell it what you want, it will do the rest. github.com/davebcn87/pi-a…

Love gstack. Running it daily on a Supabase + React stack. The defaults are Rails-first though (bin/test-lane, schema.rb merge, Rails commit ordering). Any plans for stack presets or making the default path agnostic? Right now I maintain a project-level /ship with override sections that survive upgrades. Works great but feels like something that should be upstream.

I saw @ericmigi this morning at the BASED Act press conference, and he said he loved GStack and asked for this feature, and I promised I would ship it before I went to sleep tonight. This one's for you Eric!

California's latest tech bill would: ✅ Break up Amazon Prime ✅ Eliminate travel, stock, song lyric, and shopping results from Google search ✅ Require app stores to carry hate and malware apps  ✅ Let WhatsApp and Zoom sue Apple for preinstalling FaceTime on iPhones

I was at the YC Spring 2026 kickoff social tonight and founders were asking me for Codex code review / plan review support, so I came home and shipped it same night And they're right, Codex is the amazing genius friend, smarter than Claude but not the best conversationalist

This should work well, it just pops a browser and then you just tell claude when you're done and it takes care of the rest.

GStack just shipped natural triggers so it'll help you do the things you want to do and you don't have to remember the skill names! Thanks to Mark Thurman on the YC Software team for this idea Suggested at 11:30am, shipped by 9:08pm same day
