@GetClutchVPN @JennaDoes360 @Bunny_ngl Some VPNs will offer options to block ads through their DNS, but the other reason a VPN helps is because YouTube ads are served based on IP Geolocation so if you connect to a server in an area where YouTube ads are not commonly purchased, you will get fewer ads served.

@piersmorgan @realDonaldTrump Last time I checked, Trump didn't really care what you or just about anyone else thought. He would be happy for everyone to think he's completely bat shit crazy if it meant him getting what he wants.

@Bratt_world Please understand that it's like you're trying to do a puzzle upside down, flipped over & covering one eye after a night of beer pong. What I mean is there's intel that the US hasn't & won't expose. It's bad opsec to reveal all just because inquiring minds want to know.

@MichaelShurkin Here's some of the calculus: *Total investment per WSO: $11-22mln *Training & experience: 8-12 years *Negative press of dead or tortured pilot paraded on TV *Positive Press & moral boost from going balls-to-the-walls to rescue him. *Possible loss of valuable intel if tortured.

@AmbJohnBolton I'm not sure Trump got where he is by giving many shits what people think so that's a thing. Remember he's first a businessman and only a distant third or fourth a politician.

The U.S. had every right to act preventatively in Iran. But Trump didn’t need to announce this attack at 2am from Mar-a-lago. He could have made a more persuasive case to the American people that now is the time to eliminate the Iranian regime. youtu.be/zoJ0Mw7wwZM?si…

@TheIntelFrog Have you every stopped to think that Trump posts are not to be informative to you? He might be an extreme narcissist but he didn't get where he is by being predictable and never using misdirection. Even if he's an ass hat, he's still good at getting what he wants.

@cavidaga Everyone, including you, make assumptions about people you meet every day. You have to, because you don't have all the information about everyone you meet. It helps to believe the best in people where possible. He was likely trying to be helpful.

I don't know how to respond when a Polish waiter/grocer tells me "but this has pork in it". On one hand, I feel good about them because even if they are assuming my religion based on my looks, they also care about a stranger following their own religion carefully. On the other hand, I don't like them to assume this about me. Just make it a basic transaction of money for goods.

@whyfcfc That was simply an example of something similar you can find on other channels. Doing a video involving the tech niche using things outside of it is actually an incredibly effective way to generate views and reach new viewers

A lot of criticism towards LTT for this over the price, but as usual not looking at the whole picture just the pricetag. For a channel/company of that size this is simply an investment for content. Even if they turn around and sell it later at a loss the income generated by videos featuring it will more than likely make up for that. No different than any other tech product they might use for a video aside from the amount of money needed to do it. Automotive channels in particular do this sort of thing all the time, spending ludicrous amounts on supercars or custom builds. Not only can they often be treated as business expenses for tax purposes but they make money off featuring them in videos justifying the cost. The viral marketing value alone for LTT from this is also a factor. No doubt you'll see a bunch more posts talking about it along with videos and news articles which are all essentially "free" advertising for their content. Me purchasing a tank or other military vehicle to feature in content would be a comparable (if much less expensive) thing to this for my own channel

@ConeOfArc Buying a jet w/gold plated sinks is a failure to read his audience. It doesn't matter if he's going to make good content. I might watch a wrecked supercar rebuild, but I have 0 interest in luxury jet content. LTT has been accused of shafting employees, it's not a good look.

This is what I expected any administration who got us out of Afghanistan to do to our military equipment we weren’t going to extract. In the operation last night, we destroyed the two C-130s we weren’t going to be able to extract from Iran.

@paulmelzer1 @TreyYingst People get killed when you rush an operation like this. If they were rescuing him from a permissive environment, then 90 minutes is reasonable, but that environment is anything but permissive.

One might ask why it took 8 hours to get planes in motion—that seems like ages when facing such a situation, and yet we're cheering that it happened so quickly? I would have expected more like 90 minutes, not 8 hours. Not hating, here, and absolutely in awe of the successful mission.

There was concern that, despite the crew member's beacon signal, it was an Iranian trap, a senior U.S. official told Fox News. By Saturday morning, the CIA was able to locate and confirm it was the U.S. crew member by using advanced capabilities. At that time, the CIA informed all relevant parties, including the Secretary of War, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and ultimately the President. "Within 8 hours, we had planes in motion. Within almost 12 hours, we were on the ground in Iran," the official added.

@thoughtXopinion @yarotrof @bresreports I'm Christian. I didn't vote for Trump. Most folks don't vote thinking "This guy represents my faith." Don't scapegoat people who don't look to Trump as their church rep. Do you like being blamed for every immigrant who kills someone just because you want mercy for the down & out

@yarotrof @bresreports This must bring joy to the hearts of the 81% of evangelicals that voted for him. Violence, vengeance, hatred, etc. Things that the Bible says Christians should flee from but that they clung too in voting for Trump. How anti-Christian of Trump and those evangelicals.

BREAKING: 🇺🇸🇫🇷 BACKFIRE: French General Mocked as U.S. Pulls Off High-Risk Iran Rescue. A French general is facing intense backlash after American forces successfully carried out a daring mission to rescue two pilots from deep inside Iran, an operation many had doubted was even possible. The controversy stems from his earlier remarks: Speaking about a proposed U.S. operation to build a runway inside Iran to evacuate uranium under active threat, he said: “American officials should stop snorting cocaine between meetings”, mocking what he saw as reckless planning. At the time, his comments drew ridicule and criticism. Now, those remarks are resurfacing as U.S. forces went in under hostile conditions, located their airmen, and brought them home. Just now: Americans are roasting him and France online.

Biggest marketing scam ever invented? “Lasts 13 years!” A few years later, it dies. “Where’d we get those bulbs from again? Whatever. Let’s just buy more.” A while back, I went through and replaced every incandescent in our house with LEDs. 7 years later, here we are.
