They setup the new site with a new simpler and more modern design yesterday
Looked at it today

Totally agree. I feel the same way about expensive cars. Buying a "nice" car was one of the worst decision I have ever made. I was constantly worried about it getting damaged and it began to own me.
I will only buy trucks that I can beat up for the rest of my life.

We got a $20k bid to paint our house, and a $65k bid.
Why do so many business owners think ripping people off is how you win?
I guess they "win" because 1 out of 5 people are naive enough to just sign the estimate and move on - and they take full advantage.
We went with the $20k, he did a great job, and we will refer him future business.
A vendor recently told us we needed a full replacement of our AC units - and sent a $50k quote.
Another sent a quote for $80k for the same job.
And this week, another vendor did a thorough inspection and told us these 2018 units simply need to be repaired, and have years left in them.
How do you actually win in business?
You quote a fair price. You show up. You do what you say you will. And you do a good job.

If you're depressed, move to Scottsdale.
It's clean.
Everyone is good looking.
The food scene is incredible.
The natural beauty of the landscape is unmatched. And it's always sunny so you can enjoy it year round.
Impossible to imagine being unhappy while living in Scottsdale.

My wife got her nails done & asked the owner how many people visit during weekends? Avg is 350 & Avg ticket price $100 = $35k in sales, $140k a month.
Another $20k during week, $80k monthly & the salon earns $220k a month. Their rent is $10k monthly, we call that a Cash Cow!
