A South African truck driver was forced to resign after being mistaken for a foreign national in a video
The driver (a local South African) was stopped, likely during protests and tensions over foreign truck drivers taking jobs.
A crowd accused him of being a foreigner (possibly because he didn’t speak Zulu fluently. He was confronted aggressively.
In the video, he was reportedly pressured/threatened into resigning immediately. His phone was allegedly broken when he tried to record the incident.
He stated he was accused of being a foreigner “in my own country” and felt victimised.

🚨 Roy Keane rips into Manchester City after their £116m move for Elliot Anderson.
🗣️ "£116 million for Elliot Anderson? Tell me football hasn't lost its mind. I'm not saying the lad isn't talented. He works hard, he's energetic, and he has plenty of potential.
But when a player with one standout top-flight season is suddenly worth more than some of the greatest midfielders we've seen over the last decade, something has gone seriously wrong.
Look at what has happened to the transfer market. Every window, Manchester City seem to find another reason to raise the price of everyone. £116 million for Elliot Anderson? Massive money for Marc Guéhi. Huge fees for Antoine Semenyo. More than £75 million for Joško Gvardiol. And people wonder why every club keep asking for ridiculous money
This isn't a dig at the players. If a club offers that kind of money, you'd be mad not to take the opportunity. But football has reached a stage where potential is being priced like a Ballon d'Or winner.
Players who are still proving themselves are carrying fees that used to be reserved for the very best in the world.
The problem is bigger than one transfer. When clubs with unlimited resources keep paying these numbers, everyone else follows. Average players become £50 million players, good players become £80 million players, and promising players suddenly cost over £100 million. The market loses all perspective.
Years ago, you paid those fees for footballers who had dominated Europe, won league titles, and delivered season after season. Now, one good campaign and the price tag explodes.
That's not football evolving;that's inflation running wild. If this is where the game is heading, don't be surprised when the first £250 million transfer arrives, because the market has completely lost touch with reality."

For everyone who doesn't know, this man followed a 6 year old girl into the toilets in a restaurant in South Africa and r*ped her. The media is trying to protect his identity because he is white.

@Footballtweet African teams being accusing even Morocco (an African nation) with racism when they couldn't win, and some even abandoned the pitch with victimism. I see nothing racist in those statements, he was talking about footbal (if that is what he said)

🚨🇨🇮 Bastian Schweinsteiger is facing accusations of racism after comments he made about Ivory Coast following Germany's 2-1 victory.
The former Germany midfielder described Ivory Coast as playing “a bit African style, a bit unconventional, a bit wild and perhaps not overly disciplined tactically,” adding that it made them an unpredictable team.
Ivory Coast head coach Emerse Faé responded:
🗣️ “I find this disappointing. Schweinsteiger was a great footballer. I've always admired his understanding of the game, but as a person, I'm disappointed. If we want, we can call it racism; we need to call things by their right names.”
Faé also stressed that African teams are not only physically strong but also technically and tactically accomplished, adding that he hopes Schweinsteiger's remarks were simply an unfortunate choice of words rather than a reflection of his true beliefs.
