QF Network - Community Update May 17, 2025 Dear QFN Community, We're excited to share the latest developments in the Quantum Fusion Network project. Smart Contract Framework: Smart Contract Examples: We have successfully implemented several example smart contracts that demonstrate QFN's capabilities, including: Additional examples are being actively developed. Build and Run Scripts: We've created comprehensive scripts to streamline the smart contract deployment process, making it easier for developers to test and integrate with QFN. Multi-version Support: Added multi-version capabilities for smart contracts (PR-90, PR-10), enhancing flexibility for developers. Testnet Progress: SPIN Consensus Implementation: We are actively debugging peer discovery issues in the testnet parachain on Paseo. Parachain Integration: Making progress on merging parachain node services to the blockchain node - debugging issues identified during the run process. Documentation: Released new ADRs for account's contract storage number and size limits, which are now in review. Infrastructure Updates: -Released a new version of DevNet -Troubleshooting of collateral availability issues Documentation Progress: -Recording demonstration videos for developers -Writing comprehensive instructions for smart contract deployment Team Contributions: Our dedicated team has made 23 commits across various repositories in the past week: 6 infrastructure improvements 8 enhancements to qf-solochain 4 updates to qf-polkavm-sdk 2 specification improvements 3 smart contract framework enhancements Business Development: We're pleased to announce that we've established a dedicated Business Development team focused on project onboarding for the QF Network testnet. This team will: -Provide direct support to early adopters and partners -Create streamlined onboarding processes for new projects -Offer technical guidance for migrating existing projects to QFN -Coordinate with the technical team to address partner-specific requirements What's Next: -Complete testnet parachain integration -Finalize and publish the full set of smart contract examples for testnet -Release comprehensive development documentation -Launch partner onboarding program for early testnet access Smart contracts are currently being tested on DevNet, and we're finalizing documentation for developers before the testnet launch.
