This is the very specific use case for FSR 4 that everyone actually wants int8 support for in the first place. The resolution is too low on things like the Rog Xbox Ally X to properly use FSR 3 without extreme grain and loss of fine detail, but hacking in FSR 4 support today shows hefty visual improvements from 720p native to 1080p on that hardware, while retaining performance benefits. If AMD truly wants to compete with the competition, they need to start taking things like this seriously. That, or stop releasing mobile hardware using older architectures than desktop hardware even when the mobile hardware is of a competely more recent design. It makes it feel like only desktop is truly supported, while admitting you have no intent of competing for high end on desktop either.

According to a recent HardwareLuxx report, AMD currently has no plans to bring FSR 4.1 support to RDNA 3.5 integrated GPUs. Affected GPUs: - Radeon 890M - Radeon 880M - Radeon 860M - Radeon 840M AMD recently confirmed that FSR 4.1 will expand beyond RDNA 4, with support planned for RDNA 3 discrete GPUs later in 2026 and RDNA 2 discrete GPUs in 2027. Many expected RDNA 3.5 iGPUs to be included due to their newer architecture and built-in AI capabilities. If accurate, users of laptops, handhelds, and mini PCs with these integrated GPUs may miss out on the improvements of FSR 4.1.

The lack of concern for aesthetics, for one. The utter abandonment of the mythos and pantheon themeing of all past games in favor of distinctly non-mythic actual Dungeons and Dragons themes instead, for another. The main point of concern is the lack of appeal or consultation towards the past fans that are the primary audience (read: paying customers) of the triple-digit million dollar francise. This should be considered egregious, and worthy of a shareholder vote to change C-suite execs at Sony under emergency duress. It has literally nothing to do with replacing a character or playing as a woman and everything to do with disrespecting the ones that are meant to pay for the whole mess.

So your console collects, collates, and displays the information itself? Or is it using private statistics only Sony can honestly verify? That is the distinction I'm highlighting, that PSN numbers are first party curated while Steam sites do third party curation with open statistics.
