Israel does not have a single constitution but enshrines freedom of religion in its Declaration of Independence, Basic Laws on Human Rights Dignity and Liberty, and practical governance that lets Christians worship openly, build churches, serve in the Knesset and military, and thrive as full citizens—unlike the dhimmi second class status of Christians in Iran.
