No marches at the court appearances of South African officials who are looting money that could feed communities for generations. No, just marches to harass a poor person selling bananas to feed their families.

Maybe I’m too ignorant but can someone please make me understand why are we divided when it comes to illegal immigrants in South Africa? Are we ALL not supposed to say they must go? Or you guys are fighting about something else?

Did you know? SIU discovered 630 000 foreigners who illegally acquired study VISA's, work permits & even permanent residency documents Foreigners would pay at least R500 for these documents. Most of the names on these documents are not their real names. Using fake documents, many of those foreigners are working as teachers, doctors, admins, nurses, lecturers, lawyers, consultants, mine workers, spaza shop runners, academics, "businessmen," and directors of NGO's. These foreigners are occupying 630 000 jobs and spaces meant for local unemployed men and women. 💔 SIU and Home Affairs says they will revoke all 630 000 documents, and trace down and arrest all these foreigners as they have their pictures and fingerprints on the national system.

The Private Security Industry: A Compromised Shield? Manabela Chauke has sat at the helm of PSIRA since January 2010—a tenure spanning over 16 years. Yet, under his long-standing watch, the industry has become a playground for questionable interests. From the dominance of foreign-owned security firms to the rise of figures like Cat Matlala, Ze Nxumalo, and Connelly, the sector feels less like a regulated guard and more like an open market for the highest bidder. The stakes are no longer just about business; they are about national stability. We recently witnessed the alarming operations of former cop Matipandile Sotheni—an example of how internal players can jeopardise our country's security from within. Even at the local level in Tshwane, figures like Gareth Mnisi and PA Sergeant Fannie Nkosi are accused of playing favourites, hand-picking security companies while the "plague" of corruption deepens. It is time to put all the cards on the table. We must ask the hard questions: ■ Vetting Failures: Why is PSIRA’s vetting so dangerously porous? How can a CEO oversee 16 years of "regulation" while the sector becomes a front for criminal networks? ■ Accountability: Why hasn’t Chauke been held to account? If the regulator is failing to regulate, perhaps it's time for a summons to Madlangala to answer to the people. Contractual Transparency: How long is this CEO’s contract? No leadership should be a lifetime appointment, especially when the nation's safety is at risk. The private security sector is now larger than our formal police force. When these companies are used as covers for criminal syndicates, they don't protect the country—they endanger it. We need a regulator that safeguards South Africa, not one that supervises its decline. #MadlangaCommission #ProtectGeneralMkhwanazi

South Africans now face the extraordinary reality that the Minister of Police, the National Commissioner, and a Deputy National Commissioner have all been suspended or placed on leave. This suspension is necessary and welcome; but it does lay bare the deeply alarming state of SAPS senior management. Time for a proper clean out!

HAPPENING NOW | President Cyril Ramaphosa is addressing the media at the Union Buildings in Pretoria. He says they have worked too hard to rebuild law enforcement in the wake of the State Capture and to restore the police's credibility and integrity.

When will the Hawks start arresting corrupt white tenderpreneurs? The bulk of the state procurement is dominated by them. They seem exempted from prosecution for some reason. When caught, they are asked to repay their loot and no one goes to prison. However, corrupt black tenderpreneurs get paraded as the face of corruption and face prosecution. They must all be arrested.
