@wesstreeting 😂you lot really have no idea. Your distraction technique is laughable although it’s probably the only option you have as you can’t exactly shout about any positive achievements since you’ve been in office. What a waste.

I’ve never been so shocked and disgusted by a Labour Party election broadcast. No wonder it has been censored. It’s because we didn’t use our own words - just those of Reform UK politicians. It needs to be watched and shared so that people know who and what they’re voting for.
The Labour Party@UKLabour

Our latest Party Election Broadcast cannot be shown in full on TV. But we think you should see it anyway - uncensored. youtube.com/watch?v=to4z3C…

@jcoleman22_ @neil_duignan So you think infrastructure programs are funded by someone simply coming in with a few million quid? Do you think, for example, home builders build their huge housing estates out of their own pockets? You need to open your eyes a bit more and become a bit more business savvy.

@pottypilgrim @neil_duignan Just openly said you want the club to expand the stadium but they’ve come out and admitted the finances are “perilous”. Who’s paying for the stadium expansion? You??

@DaveKent101 It’s quite obvious that she has mental health issues. We really should bring back the asylums and borstals. People like her and the yobs of today should not be free to roam our streets. Bring back, ‘short, sharp, shock’.

This is why the UK benefits bill is so high. On account of lazy, idle, and entitled ‘can’t work, won’t work’ scroungers like this Green Party candidate. Stop their benefits NOW.🤨

@DPJHodges He just cant stop gaslighting. He’s been doing it since he took office and his cabinet sing from the exact same playbook. They are all a bunch of sleazy, snivelling snakes. I didn’t think we would see worse than the Tories but here we are. Labour voters are pricks

As I've been reporting, even inside No.10 there's a realisation this was a fatal error from Starmer.
Steven Swinford@Steven_Swinford

Did Starmer mislead the Commons? It's a big question that comes down to semantics Starmer's language in the Commons on Wednesday in response to questions about Lord Mandelson, when he said that 'no pressure existed whatsoever', is now being pored over by all sides Starmer opened the statement by saying that he wanted to deal directly with 'this question of pressure in relation to the decision to appoint Peter Mandelson and put him in place' That is quite a broad statement He goes on to quote from Robbins's appearance at the foreign affairs select committee, when he said he that there was 'constant pressure' from No 10 Starmer quotes Robbins saying that he ensured the security vetting process was 'rigorously independent' of that pressure He concludes: 'No pressure existed whatsoever in relation to this case. What is unacceptable is that the recommendation of UKSV was not given to me before Mandelson took up his post' Opposition parties say this is directly contradicted by Robbins, who was clear there was pressure but said that he resisted it and the process was independent They say this does not justify a carte blanche assertion that 'no pressure existed whatsoever in relation to this case' No 10 has two lines of defence. It says, firstly, that the line was limited to 'no pressure whatsoever' specifically in terms of the vetting outcome Second, it says that it does not accept that 'asking for updates on the progress of an appointment is pressure in relation to the vetting process or outcome' But opposition parties argue that Starmer's language is far broader than that - he does not specify anything about the vetting process in the sentence in question They also say that Robbins has been selectively quoted by Starmer - that Robbins was clear that pressure was exerted during security vetting process but insists it did not have a bearing on his decision Why does it matter? Because, as we revealed this week, opposition parties are gearing up to refer Starmer to the privileges committee - the body that ended Boris Johnson's political career after finding that he misled MPs over partygate It has the potential to be fatal for Starmer. So defining what he meant when he said 'no pressure existed whatsoever in relation to this case' is critical Those nine words in the Commons could have huge ramifications

@PAFCConnor3 @SimonHallett Wow. Taken completely out of context. You must really detest the man if that’s how you interpret that comment. Then again, maybe you just don’t have the intellectual capacity to understand what he was actually meaning. It has to be one or the other.

So that begs the question of, why are we not expanding the stadium? Even filling in the corner between the Mayflower and Devonport End will benefit the club long term especially if it’s made into a safe standing area

Ticket sales are the biggest source of income to Argyle @SimonHallett so the obvious solution is we need to get more bums on seats to help balance the books. There is a large waiting list for season tickets so potentially no shortage of bums.

@carla_denyer Some are but a lot do not deserve to be classed as ‘human beings’ and this is your problem. You cannot see or accept that. Many of them cross illegally to our country to cause harm, to take advantage of our welfare system and to start up businesses that perpetuate crime. Idiot.

@PolitlcsUK @ShippersUnbound This is far bigger than just being mates and helping mates out. They share an ideological view that is not in line with the values of the British people. I’ve said before that Starmer is a real and present danger to our security and way of life. If this message is true…

It is a sad reality that Labour MPs will not eject the PM now and that Cabinet Ministers will not resign over this matter. Made worse by the fact they called for everyone and their dog to resign over far less. Tories have shown more courage and backbone to do what’s necessary.

EXCL: Morgan McSweeney, the prime minister’s former chief of staff, has been summoned before the foreign affairs select committee. McSweeney is to appear next Tuesday to respond to allegations that Downing Street put huge pressure on the civil service to approve his appointment as the UK’s ambassador to Washington. It is highly unusual for No 10 chiefs of staff to appear before Commons committees – even after they have left post – and the session is likely to be an explosive one. theguardian.com/politics/2026/…
