If Andy Burnham removes the Capital Gains tax exemption from inherited property, then he will have already lost the next election at that point. This would mean that should you inherit a property from your parents that has risen in value by £500K in value since they purchased it, then on top of IHT, you would pay £120K in extra tax. This proposal of legalised larceny comes from convicted fraudster Louise Haigh who now wants to steal your money and assets. Let’s not forget that Burnham is ALSO considering a 10% Death Levy on top of this too. The country will simply rebel against these vile proposals to steal the assets and money of working people, and dish out more to the many benefit scroungers (some on benefits are genuine) and illegal migrants.
