I was going to make a big post yesterday about how disappointed I was in the direction Fortnite has been going in lately, but many of my friends / mutuals were seemingly enjoying this season so I decided to just log off. I haven't even been playing the game regularly for several months; I haven't been subscribed to Crew for a few months and my last V-Bucks purchase was probably more than a year ago. But this news really hurts to read. It's making me experience all sorts of grief right now. Is that normal? I don't really know. But I don't think it's overdramatic to say that it's probably the start of the end for Fortnite... at least as we know it now. I've said for a long time that Chapter 5 was the start of "Fortnite 2" and I still believe that. This is quite possibly the start of "Fortnite 3." I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Logging out again ✌️

We’ve added a new Fortnite Developer Rule to address spam islands in Fortnite: 1.9.1 - “No one likes spam. Do not publish multiple copies of the same island or metadata in an attempt to manipulate search ranking, engagement, or visibility from the same account, alternate accounts or teammate accounts.” Starting March 11, developers breaking this rule will face escalating penalties, including impacts to monetization, island removal, and account suspension.
