BREAKING: KUWAIT DESALINATION HIT Active fire today at the Doha West Power and Water Desalination Station in Kuwait. Doha West stands as Kuwait’s biggest integrated power and water desalination plant, producing up to 2,400 megawatts of electricity along with 110 million gallons of water each day, about 38.5% of the country’s total desalinated supply. Around 90% of Kuwait’s potable water comes from desalination.

💢 📸 NEW: Satellite images purport to show fire damage at Kuwait desalination site 🔹 Satellite imagery appears to show burn scars and smoke damage at a coastal power and desalination facility in Kuwait, consistent with NASA FIRMS fire detections recorded on March 29. 🔹 The layout and coastal position match the Doha West power and water complex, Kuwait’s largest such facility, producing about 2,400 MW of electricity and roughly 110 million gallons of water per day, nearly 40% of national desalinated supply. 🔹 Kuwait relies on desalination for around 90% of its drinking water.
