@toastygufei In the end feels like Ian is vicariously yearning for what he had with Jo and part of him will always love him, and the lies and manipulation in his relationship with TJ are never fully addressed and he chose to stay, out of love for both he stifled his growth

tbh Ian should have ended up alone, rather than this rushed make-believe ending where he sacrificed himself to save tj from being anchorless and jo from himself. sad ending for ian :((( #wetsand

All it'll be known for is a love triangle with a toxic fandom, problematic author, rushed nonsensical ending, nothing groundbreaking in the BL scene and deserved, POTN and Mingwa have a legacies because of their writing (POTN) and timing of their releases (Mingwa) with BL's growth

I think the lesson/moral doesn't come from Tjian as an endgame, it comes from Jo. Jo teaches us that loving too much is not a weakness, that loving will never be wrong, and that if things don't work out, no one will die with a broken heart because u can heal, grow, and move on.
