At this point in the pandemic Re-introducing work from home recommendations is unlikely to have a material impact on the trajectory of the case numbers. Other countries have taken this view and are focussing their efforts on boosters for the elderly

NSW could be at 25,000 cases a day now. Here’s how. Last year with test positivity rates rarely above 1%, there was underdiagnosis by a factor of three as estimated by population antibodies. Now there is a much higher positivity rate meaning more missed cases.
