Trump refers to Medicaid and Medicare as "medical crap": "We have a man here who knows more about Medicaid, Medicare—medical crap"

Do you think this guy could even spell "Constitution," let alone read it or understand what's in it? -Only Congress can declare war (Article I, Section 8). -Only Congress can appropriate money (Article I, Section 9, "No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law"). Presidential power must come FROM the Constitution or Congress, not from "nobody has gotten it before." The Supreme Court struck down this exact logic in Youngstown v. Sawyer (1952).
Acyn@Acyn

Reporter: Why are you not seeking congressional approval? Trump: It has never been sought before. Nobody has ever gotten it before. It has never been used before. Why should we be different?

Small businesses annoy Trump. He couldn’t care less about them. Q: ‘Are you considering tariff relief for small businesses?’ Trump: ‘Why do you always mention, you know, a couple of little businesses.

Quit blaming everything on “the left”. The GOP is responsible for the shit they do. Take some responsibility.
Mike Lee@BasedMikeLee

Have you ever wondered why the U.S. government seems always to get bigger, more powerful, and more expensive, even when Republicans are in charge? I’m convinced it has a lot to do with the way the left has weaponized the Capitol Hill press corps. The Capitol Hill press consists overwhelmingly of far-left progressive activists. In the Senate, they follow lawmakers from meeting to meeting in the hallways, aggressively interrupting conversations and barking questions that sound faintly journalistic but are little more than progressive talking points. Many of their questions seem far more designed to move lawmakers to the left—and shame us when we don’t—than to elicit information with any journalistic objectivity. It appears to be working, as Republican lawmakers routinely help Democrats enact Democrat priorities. Meanwhile, you essentially never see Democrats helping Republicans enact conservative priorities. While it’s difficult to prove the causal connection between this aggressive form of “journalistic advocacy” and Republican lawmakers’ eagerness to advance the ball for Democrats, I’m firmly convinced that the left is getting its money’s worth out of this exclusive lobbying force—which has no significant, conservative counter-balance. It’s arguably the most effective lobbying force money can buy.

@waylifeshouldbe @niceguy1actual I wasn’t involved in politics. I was too busy working. I didn’t even watch TV much. I supported Trump years ago. Not in the 2024 election.

The tariffs have raised costs for small businesses, and blue-collar jobs have taken a hit. CAP found small business importers paid about $306,000 more in tariffs over the past year, while blue-collar employment fell by roughly 189,600 jobs. The goods trade deficit also hit a record high in 2025.

@robbi_fahey Trump's tax cuts and deregulation benefited small businesses the most. And, Trump is a great President. Very accomplished.

@robbi_fahey @RachelBitecofer A Democrat would be PUMMELED for shitting on small businesses in this manner and rightfully so. But it probably isn't even the dumbest thing he said that hour so he just gets a pass.

I started leaning towards DeSantis in April 2023 the same time I joined X. I was still going back and forth between the two, Trump or DeSantis. It didn’t take long before I decided on DeSantis over Trump. I stopped paying attention to Influencers and made the decision on both of their histories and current messages. I also realized a lot of the people I once supported were not who I thought they were. I started despising Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson shortly after 10/7/23. I noticed the change in them and the coldness in their monologues over time the attack and brutal murders in Israel. I still support some of Trump’s policies, the border, Israel and taking out Iran’s nuclear weapons.

@robbi_fahey @glennbeck I see you are a DeSantis supporter, so at least I know you aren't a fake pretending to be ex MAGA (although that may be true too, since DeSantis supporters never liked Trump in the first place.) Well, I presume you won't be voting for Democrats this year. Right?

Charlamagne tha God said that “The Trump Administration has caused so much pain to people’s everyday lives, that some folks are fed up and willing to risk it all.” Honest question. What pain is this administration causing that would make people say, 'I want to kill the President?' Please indulge me.

I’m an orphan. I support individuals not any party. I still have the same principles and values. It’s too long to get into details which will probably go no where. The change came over time by observation and listening and doing a lot of digging. I got out of the echo chamber.

@stellasplace1 @glennbeck You mean 100% of those who still see themselves as MAGA still support him which makes sense. I’m a former MAGA, but would not be included in the MAGA category. I changed to an Independent because I’m disgusted with Trump and the Republican Party.
