25/26 is inarguably the best season of his career. He lost Kepa, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez, Outtarra (and Semenyo mid-season) but still managed to guide Bournemouth to a 6th place finish, breaking the points tally record one final time (57) and qualifying for the Europa League.

In 24/25, Iraola took Bournemouth up another level despite losing topscorer Solanke to Spurs. He led the Cherries to a club-record 9th place finish, once again breaking the points tally record (56). He did the double over Arsenal and claimed scalps vs City, Spurs and Man United.

Entertaining half. Both sides can feel unlucky not to have scored. Ecuador hit the crossbar twice, whilst Diomande constantly ripped Hincapie to shreds and set up Pepe. Yellows for Kessie, Fofana & Doué is a problem. Fofana has really struggled. Oulai could replace him soon.

Bazoumana Traore is another to keep an eye on. Liverpool have him on their shortlist too. With Nicolas Pepe and Wahi also starting, it's hard to tell who plays where. Maybe Diomande & Toure out wide, with Pepe behind Wahi. Should be a good game. Ecuador are stacked as well.

@same_old_Fritz Not really, I would have given it to Gravernberch but Van Dijk wasn’t far off and he completed 93% of his passes with over 110 touches. Scored a very good goal.
