Oil hit a high near $119 last night. Statements followed which cooled prices to $107 now. Israeli PM Netanyahu -> "Iran today does not have the ability to enrich uranium and no possibility to produce missiles" NATO Statement -> Allies are "jointly discussing" the best approach to restore (Strait Of Hormuz) this vital oil shipping route. #IranWar#Trump #GIFTNIFTY

Wall Street markets ended down, recovered from lower levels. Futures ticking up. Asia Pacific markets open down. Friday. Crude tops out again at 119. Currently 93, 107. Gold, Silver falls big. Recovering now. 4670, 73. Metals fell. Copper Aluminium Palladium...global economy concern. Treasury yields 4.25%. USD lower. Bitcoin 70400. Nifty fell 3.3% to 23002. Bloodshed across sectors and stocks. Expect a bounce back today from oversold levels. Commodities, after big rises and falls, are likely to settle down to levels much higher than last year. Accenture q2 results best the Street. TCS Infosys other IT worthies are bottoming out! Offers strategic opportunities. Metals are unlikely to fall further in any significant manner after the steep correction. Be wary of Auto. The government has maintained pump prices of fuel despite immense costs. OMCs are absorbing the escalations as of now. Now the Banks. Big & small and PSB s. FPIs are currently in a dumping mode as they hold a significant percentage in finservices. Quick turnaround is difficult to visualise.

#DhurandharTheRevenge - REVIEW A GAME-CHANGING, INDUSTRY-SHAKING PHENOMENON. Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 ( 4.5 Stars) #Dhurandhar2 doesn’t just meet expectations,it surpasses them by a HUGE MARGIN. In every aspect, the film turns out to be bigger, better, and far more engaging than Part 1. Style, substance, drama, thrills, and patriotism - this one has it all, and how! Despite its nearly 4 hour runtime, it doesn’t give the audience a single dull moment-you barely get time to blink, screenplay moves like Usain Bolt. This time, the story dives deep into Hamza Ali Mazari’s past, exploring how Jaskreet Singh Rangi transformed into Hamza. This entire backstory is presented brilliantly, training and valor of our agents shown in full glory and detailing. The film is also noticeably more intense and violent than the first part, with extraordinary action sequences, electrifying high moments full of elevations, and goosebump-worthy moments, something that Part 1 lacked. Director #AdityaDhar delivers an exceptional job. Shooting nearly 8 hours of footage and then crafting it seamlessly into two compelling parts is no small feat. His work here makes him a strong contender for not just one, but potentially two National Awards. Talking about performances, #RanveerSingh completely lives his character. Whether as Jaskreet or Hamza, he shines in both shades effortlessly. #RMadhavan is excellent and has more screen time than D1, #ArjunRampal as Major Iqbal is impressive, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, and the entire supporting cast provide terrific support. Every character leaves a lasting impression. Music once again acts as the film’s second hero, just like in Part 1. Both the songs and background score elevate the impact of the scenes to another level, simply outstanding. Shashwat deserves every award for delivering a musical like never before. Technically, this film ranks among the top 10 films in Indian cinema. Every frame from set design (Saini S Johray) and cinematography (Vikas nowlakha) to editing ( Shivkumar V. Panicke ),sound design (Bishwadeep chaterjee) and visuals is of the highest standard. The climax is absolutely mind-blowing. Expect thunderous applause in theatres. It will also leave every patriot filled with pride for those unsung heroes and agents who selflessly sacrifice their lives for the nation. Overall, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is a rare sequel that outshines its predecessor by a wide margin. At the box office, it is poised to shatter existing records and set new benchmarks. It has the potential to become the first Hindi film to cross ₹1000 crore net in India and ₹2000 crore worldwide gross (without china).

Crude Brent hits USD 119 a barrel again and reversed. 119 level is providing strong resistance. Expect a downward trajectory now. CMP 111.

US Secretary of Defence, Pete Hegseth, says, "To date, we've struck over 7,000 targets across Iran and its military infrastructure. That is not incremental. That is an overwhelming force applied with precision. And again, today will be the largest strike package yet, just like yesterday was. As I've said from day one, our capabilities continue to build. Iran's continued to degrade. We're hunting and striking, death and destruction from above. Iran's air defence is flattened. Iran's defence industrial base, the factories, the production lines that feed their missile and drone programs, being overwhelmingly destroyed. We've hit hundreds of their defence industrial bases directly. Their ability to manufacture new ballistic missiles has probably taken the hardest hit of all. Ballistic missile attacks against our forces, down 90% since the start of the conflict. Same with one-way attack UAVs. Now the Iranians will still shoot, we know that, but they would shoot a lot more if they could, but they can't. The last job anyone in the world wants right now?... We've damaged or sunk over 120 of their Navy ships, with battle damage assessments pending for many more... Their submarines, they once had 11, are gone. Their military ports are crippled." We are in a never before stage of: what will happen in the next 10 years? 1. The reach and impact of AI and Robot and any new technologies and devices. Personal / Healthcare / Business / Employment .... 2. Tariff, Trade, Currency, Growth / Recession; at global and nation levels. 3. Political & Economic: Madman Trump has ruined the world order like never before. Trump - Netanyahu love affair is beyond senses. Israel's war on Iran is coopted by the US. Now Trump disowns the latest Israel attack on oil infra! Numerous gulf nations are pro-US. Now they (neighbors) are attacked by Iran in retaliation for attacks on them by the US. Iran cannot easily reach out to the US to attack! The US protege Gulf nations are not getting any support from Trump! Trump is a madman. He attacked defense installation in Kharge island (of Iran) for fun! Attacking an acquiring nations is fun and past time for Trump. The worst part: Global nations are just watching the fun without uttering a word against Trump or even Netanyahu! Are China & Russia really super powers? At this rate what will happen to the world order and decent leaders of other nations?

For me, the nightmare scenarios are two: 1. Israel launches nukes, saying that it has US approval ( but which is contradicted by a Truth Social post, but too late. ). It looks fairly clear that US has created a Frankenstein over which it has almost no control. 2. Iran 's Oil falls into the hands of America. Now think: if this happens, then America will be controlling pretty much entire Global Oil except Russia ( Latam Oil it anyway controls directly or by threat. Gulf Oil policy is also under its thumb. If this happens then, Oil will be weaponised as a constant blackmail threat over the world, especially countries like India that have no leverage / power unlike China. Therefore in one single move, the energy independence of India and many others will become beholden to America. After weaponising Swift and Tariffs, Oil will be the next and the most lethal weapon in the hands of America. Just for this reason alone, sensible people in this world should be praying that this scenario doesn't come true

Le Grand Fromage piece in Business Standard today: The Algebra of the Calculus of the War. Don't fall for the crocodile tears. US has Venezuela and needs higher Oil prices to boost production from old Infra. So do ME, Russia, Iran. ROW can go €¥$¢ itself
