I am so sick of 'cross-practice'. Why do medical specialists keep prescribing psychiatric meds? I've seen neurologists, internists, & neurosurgeons do it. Not just BZDs, even SSRIs & antipsychotics, that too without explaining the med's intended use. How is this ethical?

Those who have stepped outside of AC rooms and witnessed poverty, hunger, and associated suffering will know that TB is here to stay. The implementation of our policies is not aligned with TB elimination. Just testing and treating TB won't eliminate TB. TB is a social pathology.

#Watch | India has developed its first indigenous MRI machine, set to be installed at @aiims_newdelhi by October for trials. A partnership between AIIMS and @SAMEER_RnD, under @GoI_MeitY, will drive the project. The move aims to reduce treatment costs and reliance on imported medical devices, as 80-85% of equipment is currently imported. The indigenous MRI machine will help make India more self-reliant in medical technology.
