@oliver_drk Circana isnt accurate for PC. Circana use NPD. And NPD is not reagrded as a good source for steam sales. Circana were wrong for PC all through 2025 for Capcom games.

@V3nti1at0r @Dinklegaming That is the console mode. It requires full windows to run PC games. Steam launcher, Epic launcher etc all run with full PC code. Youll be able to use any PC software on the device. Anything you want.

@Dinklegaming After GDC reveal it's believed that Windows will run under Hyper-V on Xbox, which means there won't be any PC mode on it. It may run console and PC games from same menu without restarting console.

@V3nti1at0r Umm You realise it makes no difference if they have their own store on windows or not. Xbox Helix runs full windows. Its a PC. Therefore it will have the launcher. You simply use the launcher as you would on any other Windows PC. 🤦

@dailyhubranx None of these shots have correct light behaviour. Even with the post processing that photo mode uses. This is all still highly innacurate. Its good conpared to what came before it. Whixh is why you think it looks good. But its still miles away from how it should look.

@oliemack Fantastic technology. Light has never been right in any videogame. The way light behaves with colour, how shadow is formed, how light interacts with different surfaces, skin, hair the list is endless. DLSS5 is the first time ive seen it outside of CGI in movies.

Here's some of the DLSS 5 material we saw in the demos but didn't get a chance to film. Here I think you can see the strengths of DLSS 5 - reflections become much more attractive. Starfield doesn't have great lighting to begin with, so the differences can be profound.

Grace is supposed to be “an introvert who immerses herself in work” due to suffered trauma Resident Evil Requiem has a high fidelity model viewer in the game where you can see a super detailed model of how she is supposed to look. It does not look like the DLSS 5 version

@digitalfoundry Its extremely clear Nvidia have said its all approved and done by the developer. Its nit jsut something you turn on in any game. Only if the develooer has chosen to use it. Stop pandering to people who assume its switch toggle thst simpmy works on any game. It isnt.

Compare him to the shadowing on thr woman in the background. They dont even match. The bottom pic is fsr mire correct in nuance for both characters in the scene

Resident Evil Requiem sold the most copies on PS5 in the US. PS5 was the lead platform by a "meaningful margin" over PC according to Circana. Good reminder that Steam CCU counts are just one piece of data that rarely tells the full story.

@YeahThatMagic @Okami13_ Um no it doesnt. It gets its numbers from IRI and NPD. And NPD have been continuoualy innacurate on PC software digitally. Which is why noone actually uses NPDs PC software as solid information. Circana have nwver had Capcom games selling more on PC.
