@liamvincent26 I left school at 14. Went to Uni fee free at 33. Got a Bachelors, started lecturing. Masters at 52, finishing PhD at 64, still teaching. ALL my kids completed school, into tertiary. One a Vet, another managing in an NFP. Last one astrophysics. Fee free changed our lives.

If someone could point to a single positive thing fees-free achieved I might change my position on it.

@AucklandIsland Responsibility lies with ferry operators. TVNZ news tonight pointed out a report into the recent cock up was due poor maintenance. A rubber seal not replaced even 10 years after it's lifespan was up.

@AucklandIsland Interiskander is an employment agency for the seaman union. What is going to be capable of operating these ships if the current crowd can't operate the autopilot. Bluebridge should be given the new ferries to operate so they are in safe hands.
