This is footage from the "Emergency Anti-ICE Protest" in Asheville NC. I could not find a single person of color protesting here tonight, not one. I’d say at least 75% of the people were both white and over the age of 60... Why is it mostly old white people at these things?!!

@imPenny2x You took my spot. I recently swore off ever going to church again, most because of that "Christian love" that looks a lot like hate.

I went to Church by my own choice for the purpose of attending service for the first time in my 45 year life this morning. There was a talented band, and it looked like a great big group of wholesome people. Free coffee and great donuts. But the entire service was worship. “God is great, God is omnipotent, all praise be to him.” The short bible verse that was discussed basically had the take away of God’s light can not lose, and Jesus will return soon to save us. But what about why we should care, or how a lesson from the bible ties into current events. Or where people are going wrong. I didn’t feel like I learned anything, and I’m a beginner. I don’t just go there to get a feel good message. I want to be a better person when I leave or feel closer to God or be more equipped in some way. Am I barking up the wrong tree, and just need to study on my own? Do I need a certain type of church? Please help.

She’s saying what a lot of women are thinking but are afraid to say. ​She wants a man who can change a tire, change the oil, and actually pursue a woman. Basically, she wants the "Dad Standard." But she feels like her generation has completely lost those skills and that mindset. ​It raises a real question: Did we stop teaching young men how to be capable, or has society just "softened" the role of men entirely

@farmingandJesus I'd love to talk to Paul and get it on record from him that he wasn't writing God's word when he wrote letters. He was writing letters and he was just a person. I'm confident he would be appalled that his letters are being used as "God's word".

I would be pissed if I donated to a church & found out that they were giving the Lord's money to "single mother" whores. I would want it to go to the Lord's work or toward helping godly Christians who are in need. Churches should not be funding fornicators and their bastards.

I work with children who identify as ‘trans’. The girls hate being female because they think society views them as ‘weak’ or ‘vunerable’. The boys hate being male because they feel pressure to be ‘strong’ and ‘tough’. Children being irreversibly harmed because of stereotypes.

@BriannaWu As a fellow trans sister, I support ensuring testosterone doesn't unfairly influence female sports- however that can be done. I also am very tired of being slurred and called a man by major news outlets.

I support this policy, but a bunch of people showing what this is actually about, calling us “men.” They don’t care about women, they care about degrading us. I don’t know why so many people are so cruel. They can’t show us the bare minimum of dignity and call us “trans women.” at some point we’re gonna have to learn to live together and it’s gonna require treating people with dignity on these policy compromises.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is the only Senate Republican who actually joined the Senate Democrats who voted to keep government shut down. Unfortunately, he’s not up for reelection until 2028. But he has to be legally replaced. He’s not MAGA.
