Catalyst game dev admits that some of the rule changes WERE NOT PLAYTESTED. One of these is the highly controversial elevation vs partial cover rule. Makes you wonder how much of this new ruleset is actually adopted based on player feedback. Credit to gcz-gaming on YouTube

CGL is incompetent, activist run and doing everything in their power to drive it into the ground; but the older rulebooks are cheap and easy to get ahold of and there’s a thriving second hand market on eBay. You can play without ever giving them a dime.

Sad part is I keep hesitating on getting into WH, even have two unopened sets people have gifted me. But the shallow end of the gene pool keeps warding me off. They already ruined DnD for the most part. Don’t want to dump a stupid amount into another hobby and have it burnt down by activists.

or...
- Be a Warhammer 'community' member and have to tow the line in terms of opinions, political beliefs, and arbitrary membership qualifiers under constant threat of cancelation for simply sneezing too loudly. Only allowed to like the Imperium if I do so 'critically' and 'ironically.'

I'm not a fan of the King Crab. It's expensive, rare, equipped with weapon systems I don't have good luck with, and it's an Assault, my least favorite mech class. That people keep hyping it up is also a turn off. Anywho, here's a fresh blue king crab.
