@JXS_21 The Stawell gift has been run for 147 years with this handicap format. Backmarker winners are rare in this event. Have a read on the history, you'll understand why the final doesn't have what you're looking for. It's incredible we get to see these athletes competing as is.

@shoop Heaven forbid people get to see the fastest runners at the event run in the final. Handicap the final if you must. But if you think excluding the fastest runners by time and finishing position based off the opinion of the handicappers is great theatre then cool, you are minority
