Day 2 of Building In Public🚀 Development of Bifröst since I started yesterday was mainly ideological and UI focused, putting together the landing page. Still on localhost, facing some mobile button issues and that's probably why. Gonna deploy to Vercel to see if it sticks around. For me, the first 5 seconds on the landing page determines the impression that a potential customer will get. So optimizing that is the best way to ensure your highest chances of success. As for the process itself, I looked up some references and like this Magazine style hero section and implemented that, along with a negative footer. I'm also using some Anime JS stuff to give the site a bit more interactivity. That's all for today. -- Did you know when you freelance, YOU hire the client and not the other way around? Bifröst. A client-developer dashboard that bridges the gap in real-time for project progress with your clients, and lets actually stay in control of the whole thing. → Upload your contracts → Clients track progress → Lock viewing features until payment's made (deposit, milestones, etc.) → Payment integrations built in → More Interested? Follow along on the journey if this idea interests you! #buildinpublic #animejs #nextjs #Bifröst #SaaS #growth

Update: Walkthrough is sitting at #2 on TinyLaunch 🙏 genuinely did not expect that today. Built it with @hellojaibu. #1's in sight, every upvote closes the gap. Link below.

Ever gotten headaches dealing with your first few clients? Remember when you were starting out and really didn't have a clue what you were doing? Winging it, getting scope-creeped to death ☠️ Easy clients exist (love you guys btw 🤍) but the difficult ones are a different ballgame, especially when you're inexperienced. If you're a freelancer who gets projects like websites, digital products, anything you gotta build for someone else, I'm making something for you. Something I genuinely wish I had. It's called Bifröst. A client-developer dashboard where you can share real-time project progress with your clients, and actually stay in control of the whole thing. → Upload your contracts → Clients track progress → Lock viewing features until payment's made (deposit, milestones, etc.) → Payment integrations built in It'll remove the awkwardness of chasing your client on WhatsApp and Email like you're lowkey begging them to move. As someone who'd rather die than tell a client "No, fuck that. I'm done." - I really needed this. 😭 A few clicks and things are sorted between your client and you. You reclaim the time and mental energy you could've spent actually building. I'm building this because I personally get projects and would use it every single time. There'll probably be some AI in there too, still figuring out where it fits, but progress tracking feels right. Will update when I get a eureka. Pricing's still being figured out too. Leaning toward no freemium, no free tier, just something accessible by the everyday Freelancer. For freelancers, by a freelancer. 🔥 They say validate before you build. So that's what I'm doing, drop what features you'd want to see below. Building in public, day 1. #buildinginpublic #freelancers #Bifröst

Deciding which features to lock behind the paywall is part of the least talked about silent dev struggle. Here's what I learned: The aha moment has to be free or nobody ever sees the value

@ChrissGPT Butter smooth spaceship and hyper drive from cockpit, doesnt have to actually go anywhere but the outside can procedurally generate different visuals (a black hole, cluster of moons, etc)

Claude 5 Fable (Ultracode), third pass on my spaceship demo it added openable cabinets and lockers with stuff actually inside them, sittable chairs, a holographic star map at the desk, tintable windows rounded out furniture, and more! Not to mention full 3D exterior of the ship you can orbit around! This is genuinely mind blowing and people have already adjusted to what AI can do so fast, but this was literally impossible to do 3 months ago.
Chris@ChrissGPT

Claude 5 Fable (Ultracode) I asked it to build a demo of my dream game in Three.js and I'm genuinely shocked 💀 One shot, a full explorable starship with a working cockpit, crew quarters, a planet drifting past real windows, dynamic lighting, sleep/eat interactions, it screenshotted its own work and fixed itself until it hit 60fps on browser Obviously not steam ready but man this is so so far from what we had one year ago…

a solo dev shipped a game called Schedule 1 last year 8M+ copies. ~$125M. built by one person. and the tools just got even better Higgsfield Games: • describe a game in plain text • 2D or 3D, any genre • characters, props, settings generated by Higgsfield MCP • multiplayer, built and deployed powered by Claude Fable 5 the idea was always the hard part now it's the only part try it on Claude via Higgsfield MCP ↓
Higgsfield AI 🧩@higgsfield

Meet Higgsfield Games. For the first time, build and deploy multiplayer games from one prompt, in any genre, 2D or 3D, with best-in-class characters, props, and settings generated by Higgsfield MCP. Powered by Claude Fable 5. Try on Claude via MCP and on our Supercomputer.

Nice app! Can see it getting used but finding the connector that let's it catch on with the wider audience will be the biggest hurdle. Have you contacted small corpo businesses? Try firms and even airline companies. I'm not doing much rn, got a cool portfolio I made tho! ianmadez.github.io/portfolio-site/ WIP. Doesn't quite work on mobile yet, planning controller nav integration too

Unveiling my cool portfolio site, rebuilt as a fully working PS2 dashboard :) Boot sequence with the weeeuuu sound, memory card screen, game slots for my projects, the orrery in system config, all of it. Went on a full witch hunt for the original sounds and UI references to make it feel authentic Vanilla JS + Three.js for the 3D stuff (figuring that out was... an experience). Used Deepseek to wire up the state hooks I didn't want to babysit Still missing controller support and a couple screens are shells but the vibe is there! Don't open on mobile. It's broken rn lmao Repo: github.com/ianmadez/portf… ianmadez.github.io/portfolio-site/

I’m hiring a remote fullstack intern for $500/month Skills: - be product first engineer (know what the end user would want) - know how to use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, etc) - have some solid project you built end to end (like a SaaS) Comment your portfolio!

For the digital artists: how do you guys feel about a simple app (free, open source) that would turn your phone into a graphics tablet, basically draw on your phone and instantly see lines on your laptop? #digitalart #drawing #wc2026
