Linton, 58, has a very high IQ, an amazing grasp of mathematics, and an encyclopedic knowledge of military history and paleontology. He has also just been looking up the etymology of "bumder" and pissing his pants.

My grandson came home yesterday and told his mum that they had a lesson on muslims, and their religion in school that day. Today, my family decided that as Christians, catholics, and with Jewish relatives as well as women's rights activists aplenty within our family, this was not appropriate, needed, or wanted. Monday, the head teacher will have a complaint she never imagined, she will never forget and will never wish repeated.

Today was absolute shit. But we had dinner with the parents, and mum & dad loved the chat about medical stuff (me. Dad was a GP) and second world war aircraft (Lint. Dad loves all engineering), and it made his brain work and he was happy. I love having them near.

@staffsref @BjCruickshank You obviously enjoy our Celtic Culture. Unfortunately that could be all lost if farage's right wing party get into power. Please help us keep our Culture and for you to continue to enjoy it, and don't vote for him.

You seem to know a lot about dinosaurs. I did back when I was a kid when I had a major interest. We called the long necked vegetarian ones Brontosaurus. There was a real skeleton of one I saw in Exhibition Park in Los Angeles years ago. Very exciting. Knowledge has grown and names have changed. I can imagine you enjoyed Jurassic Park films. I know I did.

@staffsref @louisedbegin I had read that birds were developed from dinosaurs but didn't know what branch. Those theropods look sufficiently capable of taking on a variety of enemies.
