Rivals to lovers mistynat but the beef is entirely on Nat’s side and Misty is just Like That. So when they finally get to the becoming friends stage Nat says something like “remember when we hated each other” and Misty just blinks at her in confusion and says “I never hated you”

@stardustalien16 Yeah. I have this very angsty headcanon in my head that working with Tai and hearing her talk about Van is what makes it eventually click for her

@catrahark i wonder if Tai comparing her losing Van to Misty losing Natalie to get her on her side against Shauna would make something like that start moving in her head. if she ever does realize, it’ll be fucking brutal for her (and me)

@catrahark that’s what i think tbh. Misty had such a specific way of thinking and i rlly don’t think she questions her own thoughts all that much so since Nat is very thoroughly in the best friend category to her, i don’t think she realizes what she feels for is something beyond platonic

@stardustalien16 Yeah. I still lowkey think she doesn’t fully grasp the fact that she was IN love with her. She just knows that she loved her and doesn’t really think about the exact context

@catrahark even if she wasn’t a good one, she was the leader they needed to get through the cabin burning down imo. by the end, i’m sure we’ll see why none of the leaders weren’t ever capable of being ‘good’ ones bc of their various flaws and issues and what the group is going through
