lestat tried so hard to not be the villain in louis’ story, to do right by him. he gratefully welcomes louis back into his life (it’ll be different now!)

as much as lestat doesn't wanna face some of his traumas, the truth is that, sometimes, what happens is that you can't *see* that you're a victim. when the ppl that are supposed to help you know right from wrong tell you what is happening is okay, how do you know any different?
