So not only did sanctuary policies facilitate circumstances that allowed an unlicensed, uninsured illegal alien to hit my 22yo daughter and then flee, leaving her permanently and profoundly disabled, our esteemed @GovofCO (sarcasm) will actively hinder needed therapies and services for her as well as hinder my ability to be her full time caregiver because she requires 24/7 care. While simultaneously throwing millions upon millions of dollars, to services for people like the woman that stole my daughter’s future. Who did not have to pay one cent towards her medical expenses (remember, no insurance). We were denied the wheelchair Carissa needs and I pay for her physical therapy out of pocket. But people who should not be here will have all their medical needs provided. Let that sink in.

The most decorated living US Merchant Mariner is probably Captain Hugh Stephens 102 years old His first trip was on a 100 ship convoy crossing the Atlantic in World War 2 As they approached the Straits of Gibraltar, the convoy broke up and 30 American ships entered the Mediterranean. The waters were filled with unseen enemies. German U-boats moved silently under the waters like sharks. The convoy made their way toward Crete. Here they were met with a heavy Luftwaffe presence. The planes strafed the decks of the ships first with incendiary rounds to light the hatch tarps on fire, and then conducted a second round of strafing with regular rounds. Hugh zigzagged across the deck as the bullets tore into the deck around him. He was assisting the Navy gunners as a loader, and his bravery, as well as that of all the others aboard, ensured that the ship’s defenses were able to hold off the enemy attack. PATRIOT

@johnkonrad Forget what the casualty rate was for the Merchant Mariners in WW2 but it was high. Lots of ships sunk off of North Carolina. The government kept that quiet for moral reasons. Yes, I’m a history nerd.

@JoshOrnot @johnkonrad Except of course having the highest mortality rate of any of the “armed services”. Mostly they were unarmed. My Dad’s 1st trip across the Atlantic was I Aug 1942with the US Merchant Marine. In 1942 there were over 700 US Merchant ships lost UBoats enroute to England. Fun times

@semperfifemale The problem is most people don't keep up with this like you and I, so a lot of people don't know who he is or the fraud he helped create in 2020. He is flying under the radar and we need to get the message out he is just as bad as Raffensperger. They are connected at the hip.
