@dylanwiliam @Jordan_C_Adams Agreed, if I look back over my career there will have been years where I should have been given reduced pay or fired and years where I should have got the pay rise. That’s not to even mention the rest of the stuff that teachers do. In principle I agree, great idea but impossible.

@Jordan_C_Adams Just wrong. Working out who the more effective teachers are is not just hard. It is in principle impossible, since every teacher builds on the foundations laid by her predecessors.

Merit-based pay for teachers is how you attract, reward, and retain the best-of-the-best in k-12 education.

@DarranPearce Yep, I think the argument from the National League clubs is absolutely valid, and not just because I support one of the clubs. Looking at NLN and NLS, the number looks about right this season as there are promoted teams at the top and the bottom.

Just wanted to comment on Ryan East as well. I know he didn’t win last night at the end of season awards. (Very hard to choose from and the correct players won in my opinion) BUT He has been fantastic all season. Quietly gets on with his business. Always gives 100% and works so hard. I’m a massive Easty fan. This club means the world to him as well, you can tell the way he celebrates and is constantly showing the badge off. Our unsung hero in my opinion 🙏🏻 One of my favourite players who deserves so much credit 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 #RAFC

Bloody hell what is this club doing to me 🤯 For 75 minutes of that in a must win game that was horrendous. Looked like we were throwing the title away. But, then somehow we pulled off that comeback to find a way to win. It wasn’t pretty, but we got the 3 points! #RAFC

Wealdstone were an awkward side, dirty on the quite putting our playing in full nelson locks. Mani D&Smith were ineffective for 65mins, wouldn't bother trying that pairing again, Hendo comes on &changes the game for the 5,432nd game - find it odd that we don't start him..

@kian_rafc Fair point. We are a very, very good side in this division. If we took more shots would we be better? Yeah, we probably would. We’ve also scored goals where we could have had a difficult shot but kept passing and scored. Yesterday we needed the shots

Checked the York score in around the 65th minute yesterday and they’d had 17 shots To put things into perspective, Dale haven’t managed 17 shots in a single game all season People need to stop using our points tally as an excuse, it really doesn’t tell the full tale #RAFC
