Beware of doing business with Sunrun Solar @Sunrun. They caused damage to my roof during the installation of my Sunrun solar panels, which caused a leak into my home and they do not want to take responsibility for the damage or repair the damages.

@ashriosbarba @Sunrun Beware of doing business with Sunrun Solar @Sunrun. They caused damage to my roof during installation of my Sunrun solar panels and now I have a leak into the interior of my house. They do not want to take responsibility for the damage they caused or repair any of the damages..

Update: Solar panel removal is now scheduled for April 3rd. After months of back and forth with @Sunrun, we’re finally getting to the point where the roof can be properly inspected. This should have happened from the beginning. Once panels are removed, we’ll be documenting:

During one of those visits, a technician confirmed there was water intrusion at solar mounting points. Temporary repairs were made—but the leak continued. @Sunrun @FOXLA #WaterDamage #Construction #SolarInstallation

In November 2025, we discovered a leak inside our home directly under the solar panels. Sunrun sent technicians out multiple times. @Sunrun @KTLA #RoofLeak #HomeDamage #Solar

We had solar panels installed in 2020 (Vivint Solar, later acquired by Sunrun). Before installation, we were told our roof had to pass an inspection to qualify. We trusted that process. @Sunrun #SolarEnergy #SolarPanels #HomeImprovement
