There were many slavery systems and slave trades worldwide. The Atlantic slave trade at present gets the most publicity, but hardly anybody discusses the massive Ottoman, Barbaric and Arabic enslavements and slave trades, or the age-old internal slave trades and slave systems in Africa (or in other continents and cultures). Pre-colonial Ghana alone had 63 slave markets. Slavery continues today in Mauritania, Congo, Sudan, Ghana, Libya, plus child soldiers in multiple conflicts, etc). Plus human torture and sacrifice (see pictures, Dahomey). Your selective blaming does not make sense.

@tonsmit @izamamaa They took people from their countries and enslaved them, taking them all over the world to do what they said. I don't deny that horrible things happen in the world, but as I said before We were talking about slavery at that time

Enslavers tore babies from their mothers’ arms, forced them into servitude, maimed or killed them at will. while making those same mothers nurse and raise the children of their enslavers. Never forget.

Die stukjes en video's van/over de kleine graaf Schimmelpenninck negeer ik al 2 jaar. Hij maakt maakt iedereen voortdurend uit voor ‘domrechts’, ‘domme lullen’, 'tokkievolk’ of "intolerante neofascisten". Waarom huren de media zo'n ongecontroleerd projectiel in? Deze egotripper van adel wil alleen maar stangen.

Als de inhoudelijke argumenten ontbreken, wordt er maar naar beschuldigingen gegrepen richting mensen met een andere mening. Zo kennen we Sander Schimmelpenninck weer: liever framen en diskwalificeren dan het debat op inhoud voeren. Het zegt uiteindelijk meer over de zwakte van de argumentatie dan over de tegenstander. Wat is het ook een naar ventje.

@tonsmit @izamamaa We're not talking about the present day; we're talking about the time of slavery these people endured. Back then, women didn't work, they weren't confined to the hospital, or There were studies that showed that breastfeeding should not be done while taking medication.
