When Christians say they want to be Christ-like, they mean emulating Jesus' compassion, mercy, and forgiveness. Now, as a Muslim, I ask us honestly: We claim we want to be Muhammad-like. But look how some of our brothers keep damaging the Prophet's image, defending child marriage, supporting killing for blasphemy, and spreading hatred for non-Muslims. The Prophet was a mercy to all the worlds. He was gentle, patient, kind even to his enemies. How can we say we follow him when our actions paint him as harsh and cruel?
