Controversial: Most "web3 for kids" products are just web2 with a blockchain logo. Real web3 for kids: → They hold their own keys → They see real transactions → They learn by using, not watching Anything else is theater.

My 12-year-old now: • Has a Solana wallet • Understands USDC vs SOL • Checks transactions on-chain • Asks about gas fees All from receiving automated allowances. Best unintentional education ever.

Things I deliberately didn't build in Allowly: • Transaction history (use Solscan) • Notifications (check the app) • Analytics (not needed) • Premium tiers (it's free) • Multi-child dashboard (make multiple policies) Scope creep is the enemy of shipping.
